Naira Rate (Dollar to Naira Rate Today) — Privacy Policy

Effective: 24 September 2026

Naira Rate ("the app"; listed on Google Play as "Dollar to Naira Rate Today") shows exchange rates between the Nigerian naira and other currencies, on Android.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app does not collect, store on a server, share or sell any personal or usage data. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

What the app downloads

To show rates, the app downloads public exchange-rate files from the open @fawazahmed0/currency-api data set, served by jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net) or, if that fails, Cloudflare Pages (currency-api.pages.dev). These are ordinary web requests for public files: like any web request they reveal your IP address to the server that answers, and the app sends a User-Agent naming the app and its version. The app sends nothing else: no identifier, no amount you typed, no setting.

What stays on your device

Saved rates, the amounts and rates you type in the converter, and your settings are kept in the app's private storage on your phone so the app works offline and reopens where you left it. They never leave the device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage, deletes them.

Changes

If a future version sends any data (for example, to a rate service run for this app), this policy will be updated before that version is released and will say exactly what is sent.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13.
