Voltage Drop Calculator AC/DC — Privacy Policy
Effective: 26 September 2026
Voltage Drop Calculator AC/DC ("the app", package
com.voltagedropcalculator.app, shown on the home screen as "Voltage
Drop") is a voltage-drop and wire-size calculator for Android.
What the app collects
Nothing. The app does not collect, send, store on a server, share or sell any personal or usage data. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app does not request the Internet permission or any other permission, so it cannot send anything anywhere. Every result is calculated on your phone.
What stays on your device
The values you type into the calculator, the calculations you save (with the names you give them), your recent calculations and your settings are saved in the app's private storage on your phone, so that the app can show your history and keep your work if it is closed. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage, deletes them.
Sharing a result
If you tap "Share", the app hands the result as plain text to the Android share sheet, and you choose where it goes (for example a messaging or e-mail app). The app itself sends nothing; what happens to the shared text afterwards is governed by the app you chose.
Android backup
If you have turned on device backup with your Google account, Android may include the app's saved calculations and settings in that backup, as it does for most apps. That backup is between you and Google and is governed by Google's terms. The developer never receives it.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If a future version ever sends any data, this policy will be updated before that version is released and will say exactly what is sent and why.
