Seikai JLPT bot — Privacy Policy

Effective: 26 October 2026

The Seikai JLPT bot (@JLPTSeikaiBot, "the bot") is a Telegram bot for JLPT practice tests. This policy says what the bot keeps about you, why, and how to have it deleted. How Telegram itself handles your account and messages is covered by Telegram's privacy policy, not this one.

What the bot keeps

On Seikai's server, under your Telegram user id:

Payments

The season pass is paid in Telegram Stars, through Telegram. Telegram handles the payment; the bot receives the number of Stars, Telegram's charge id and the pass bought, and keeps them with your user id to give you the pass, to refund it and to settle disputes. The bot never sees card or bank details.

A pass comes with a one-use code for the Seikai JLPT Android app. The code is kept with your payment so that a refund can cancel it too. Seikai's content service records the code, but not who it was given to.

What the bot sends elsewhere

The bot has no ads and no analytics service. Nothing is sold, or shared for advertising.

Keeping and deleting

Your settings and study are kept while you use the bot. Payment records are kept for the season the pass belongs to and for one year after; longer only when a dispute or the law needs them.

To have your data deleted, write to regardtous@gmail.com or send /paysupport in the bot. We delete it within 30 days and tell you when it is done. Deleting your data also ends a pass you hold. Messages already in your chat stay there until you clear the chat in Telegram.

Security

The data is kept on a server that only Seikai's operator can reach. If it is ever exposed, we will tell you in the bot.

Children

The bot is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If the bot starts keeping or sending anything new, this policy is updated before that version of the bot runs.
